ReliantSouth Construction Group is serving as the Construction Manager for the Island View Park project located in Franklin County, Florida. The project team is being lead by Tim McGuffin and is currently tracking well. The park will offer stunning views of St. George Sound and enable the community an opportunity to reconnect with nature in this biologically diverse coastal area.

7th Graduating Class of Construction Training Course…

ReliantSouth Construction Group, along with fellow community partners, Macedonia Baptist Church, Gulf Coast State College, & LEAD Coalition of Bay County are proud to announce its 7th graduating class from their Construction Training Course. This graduating class is the largest to date! The course educates attendees regarding job applications, understanding construction blueprints, power tool usage and other needed industry skills.

ReliantSouth New Office – Ribbon Cutting & Grand Opening

ReliantSouth will be hosting a Ribbon Cutting & Grand Opening Ceremony at their new office on October 5th from 3:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. with the Ribbon Cutting ceremony occurring at 4:00 P.M. The new office is located at 230 West 5th Street. Feel free to stop by to see the new office and have some dessert! ReliantSouth Welcomes Troy Coggins to the Team…

Troy is the newest member to join the ReliantSouth team, bringing over 25 years of construction experience across the Southeast. Troy has been involved in countless commercial projects including educational, medical, retail, office, financial, and aviation market sectors.

RV camping with his wife along the coast of Florida and Alabama football are Troy’s passions. He is absolutely certain that Alabama will win the 2017-2018 national championship.

New Project Alert – Panama City Toyota Renovations

ReliantSouth has been selected to serve as the Construction Manager for the upcoming renovation to Panama City Toyota. The project will include extensive enhancements to the 62,614 facility including the Customer Lounge/Cafe, Showroom, Sales, Administrative, Training, Parts, and Service Areas, as well as the entire exterior facade. The ReliantSouth Team is excited about partnering with the Panama City Toyota Team on this project and looks forward to the Re-Grand Opening in 2018.

Hope Radiation Cancer Center – Project Update

ReliantSouth Construction Group’s $1.3M expansion and renovation to the Hope Radiation Cancer Center is tracking well. ReliantSouth was selected as the Construction Manager by Dr. Hasan Murshed for this challenging project which will enable Dr. Murshed and his team to offer expanded services and care to his many patients throughout Northwest Florida. The ReliantSouth Team looks forward to the ribbon cutting in the coming months.

Lantana Retail – Project Completion

ReliantSouth recently completed the Lantana Retail project, a 7,235 sf retail building located on Panama City Beach. ReliantSouth served as the Construction Manager on the project for a repeat client which is a testimony to the ReliantSouth team’s focus on client satisfaction. The building houses two (2) separate tenant spaces, including Emerald Coast Olive Oil.

ReliantSouth Welcomes Michael Woods to the Team

ReliantSouth is proud to welcome Michael Woods to the ReliantSouth Team. Michael brings a diverse construction skill set to the Team including extensive experience in site/civil construction, residential, and commercial construction. Michael obtained his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Florida State University in 2010. Additionally, he has an Alabama Utility Contractor’s License, Florida Utility Contractor’s License, and Florida Certified Residential Contractor’s License.

Michael’s hobbies include long distance running and family activities.

ReliantSouth Purchases Building for New Office Downtown

ReliantSouth Construction Group has been blessed since its’ inception and has outgrown its current office at 490 Grace Avenue in downtown Panama City. While evaluating countless properties, the ReliantSouth team sought to find a building that would allow an opportunity to invest in the revitalization of the downtown area and also possibly offer the ability to embrace some of the area’s historical significance.

After evaluating countless properties, ReliantSouth decided to purchase the old Bay National Bank & Trust Company (later Bay Bank) building located at 230 West 5th Street in Panama City. The 9,100 sf building was originally constructed in 1960 and operated as a

. The 9,100 sf building still contains the three original vaults and has a great open floor plan to be developed. The renovation is underway and the team looks forward to moving in soon. Stay tuned for more information…
