GIVING BACK TO OUR COMMUNITY
ReliantSouth Construction Group is committed to our community. Our team members are deeply rooted in the schools, churches, and civic organizations of northwest Florida. We are a family and choose to support family life and community growth by investing in our youth and our industry.
How do we accomplish this mission? We understand our financial limitations and realize we can’t help everyone, even though we wish we could! We value educational opportunities and workforce development and hence focus our giving in these specific areas.
DO YOU HAVE A FUNDING REQUEST?
If your potential request meets the above criteria, please complete this request form. Whether we can assist or not, we wish you great success with your endeavor, and you will hear from us in one way or the other.
HOW HAVE WE IMPACTED OUR COMMUNITY?
Many of our folks serve on various non-profit boards such as the Gulf Coast Foundation, Girls Inc., Anchorage Children’s Home, and Alignment Bay County and also with our individual churches.
Our passion for excellence in education led us to spearhead the fundraising since 2008 for Bay District Schools’ annual Three River Science Fair, History Fair, and Math Counts Competition, over which time over $150,000 has been raised.
In addition, Team ReliantSouth led the charge to start Construction Academies at both Rutherford and Arnold High Schools … and has continued to support these vital programs.
Supporting literacy is one of our passions and hence we launched the Cherry Street Reading Initiative and actively support the Bay County Library’s Free Book initiative.
Partnering with the LEAD Coalition and Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church …
- A six (6) week Introduction to Construction course was developed. Since 2015, we are proud to have had over 100 graduates of the program.
- A Business Development/Microloan program was developed and implement in an effort to help budding entrepeneurs.
