Sugar Sand Subdivision

ReliantSouth was selected to serve as the Civil Management firm on the Sugar Sand subdivision in Mexico Beach, FL. The Owner of this subdivision sought an experienced Construction Management/Civil Management firm to oversee the critical infrastructure and site development of this private, gated community. The Owner selected ReliantSouth as their Civil Management firm due to their 60 years of combined experience with civil and site development, an in-house Florida Licensed Professional Civil Engineer, status as a Florida licensed Underground and Excavation Contractor, and in-house FDOT Certified Construction experts.

The first phase of the subdivision includes a 64-lot community located on the Gulf of Mexico. Infrastructure for the development, totaling in excess of $4,000,000, includes asphalt roadways, potable water, sanitary sewer, storm water conveyance and retainage, natural gas, multiuse concrete pathways, and an expansive boardwalk that traverses over unspoiled Florida sand dunes. The community amenity building includes a common meeting area, gym and large infinity pool. Concrete paver pathways connect the homeowner’s property to the common areas. The second phase of Sugar Sands will consist of an additional 32 home sites and will make use of all aforementioned infrastructure improvements.
