John Meyer, LEED AP

John, a Florida Certified General Contractor, Louisiana Certified General Contractor, and LEED Accredited Professional, is a graduate of Bay High School, Gulf Coast State College, and the University of Florida. While at the University of Florida, John obtained his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Finance and a Master’s Degree in Building Construction.

After working on Disney projects from 2000-2002 in Orlando, John returned to Northwest Florida in 2002.  Since his return, John has been actively involved with the preconstruction and construction phases of over $500M in construction projects.  In 2013, he helped found ReliantSouth Construction Group.  John leads ReliantSouth’s Preconstruction Department and also manages relationships with several national, repeat clients to ensure consistency and results are delivered on each project.

Previously, John served on the Bay County Chamber of Commerce’s Board of Directors, Panama City Downtown Improvement Board’s Architectural Review Committee, and Bay Building Industry Association’s Board of Directors.  He currently serves on the Gulf Coast State College Foundation Board of Directors and also serves as the Foundation’s Vice-President.

Fully invested in our community, John married his high school sweetheart, Kelly and they have two daughters (who are both attending the University of Florida – Go Gators!).  In his spare time, John enjoys spending time with family and hunting.
